The Downtown Plan process began in August and is expected to be completed by the end of the year. The four-phase process will be guided by the process outlined below.
Phase One - Downtown Assessment (August - September)
Phase One will focus on establishing the foundation for the Plan. It will include a comprehensive analysis of the study area, small group listening sessions, and a community survey.
Phase Two - Draft Downtown Plan (September - October)
After the Downtwon Assessment and Initial Public Input is completed, the draft Plan will be prepared. The draft Plan will include concepts for the streetscape, public spaces, transportatoin, parking, mobility, and redevelopment sites.
Phase Three - Community Input Meeting/Event (October - November)
Once the draft Plan is prepared, a community engagemet event/meeting will be held to recieve public input. The draft Plan will also be posted on the project site to allow for additional community comments and input.
Phase Four - Prepare the Final Plan (November - December)
At the conclusion of the community engagement phase, the final Plan will be developed for presentation to City Council for their consideration of adoption.
